American made Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum large frame double-action revolver chambered in .44 Magnum, manufactured circa 1969-1972. Features a nickel plated finish, pinned 8 3/8" heavy barrel with partially serrated wide sighting rib, raised and pinned ramp front sight with red insert, adjustable micrometer click white square notch rear sight, fluted six-shot cylinder with counterbored chambers, shrouded ejector rod, serrated .400 target trigger, .500" checkered target hammer, three screw square butt N target frame with ten-groove grip straps, checkered target grips with extractor relief cuts and S&W medallions. Bore and cylinder are pristine with strong rifling. Retains approximately 98% of high luster stainless finish with normal very light handling wear, and drag marks around the cylinder. Action is smooth with tight lockup and the grips are very good with handling wear on the bottom and along the edge, and a small impression above the right and left medallion.
